I can remember these delicious chocolate peanut butter squares being part of our cookie tray for my whole life.  I'm not sure if it's a recipe from the corn flakes people, the peanut butter people or maybe even the corn syrup people.  It may have even been created by someone in my family.  Truth is, I don't even care who came up with them.  I just care that I have them!

This recipe is so incredibly easy to make, and super fun, too.  The easy past comes from the short list of ingredients and the fact that these delicious little squares don't even have to be baked.  That's right.  They go for just a few minutes at the end to melt the chocolate chips, but that's it.  No actual bake time.

The fun part is the act of making them.  See, you have to crush a whole bunch of corn flakes and them mix the corn flakes up with a jar of peanut butter.  Naturally, the best way to do that is with your hands.  I have not met a kid yet that doesn't like to get in there and get their hands all peanut butter-y!

Seriously, so much fun to make.  And fast.  Did I mention fast?  If you're looking for a last minute addition to your Christmas cookie plate, these would be the ideal candidate.  You will NOT regret it!  Promise!
